Vintage Zuni Sterling Silver Bib / Bar Turquoise Stone Inlay Teardrop Necklace with Extender Chain

This is a vintage Native American made Sterling Silver Bib / Bar Necklace with an extender chain.

Total Weight: 14 grams

Chain Length: The Original Bar Necklace is Choker length at 15 inches. I have included a removable, adjustable Sterling Silver Extender Chain that adds 4 inches to the necklace making the necklace adjustable to 19 inches long. The original chain has not been altered. See photo for detail.

Bar Width: 4 inches
Pendants: The largest pendant in the center measures 1 3/8 inches long by 1/2 wide. The outer two pendants measure 1 1/8 inch long by 3/8 inch wide.

This necklaces features a bar style pendant with 3 stunning teardrop Pendants that have stones channel inlaid into them. Stones included in the pendants are Black Onyx, Turquoise and Mother of Pearl. The stones are inlaid in repeating stripes for a stunning visual effect. The blue color of the turquoise is a bright blue with dark matrix. The bar pendant has a hand stamped repeating design that adds to the artisanship of this necklace.

I believe this necklace is an older piece. It is unmarked but was acid tested as sterling silver.

The silver on this necklace is a medium gray from age. The mother of pearl inlay is not as shiny as the other stones, indicative of age. The sterling silver extender chain is NEW. All in all this bib necklace is in good vintage condition.
