Vintage Mexican Sterling Silver Silver Red Jasper Petit Point Large Statement Earrings, 20 grams, Southwestern Vintage

This is a pair of vintage Mexican Sterling Silver Petit Point Red Jasper Large Statement Earrings with Stud Closure.

Total Weight: 20 grams

Measurements: 2 inches long by 1/5 inches wide
The round circle stud measures 1/4 inch in diameter.

This pair of earrings are absolutely gorgeous!
The earrings feature a large dangle piece with a Red Jasper Petit Point design with silver drops in between each bezel of Red Jasper. The dangle piece connects to a 1/4 inch stud closure with a round Red Jasper stone similar in size to the other Red Jasper petit points.
The use of petit point style is time consuming to make, so much effort went into making these Mexican Artisan earrings.

The earrings are fairly heavy, but definitely make a statement!
I haven't seen very many similar styles to this one, definitely a rare find!

The earrings are marked "Mexico 925" on the backside of each earring.

I decided not to completely clean these earrings, but I did clean off some of the patina on the backside of the stud piece, just for cleanliness.
The earrings are in good vintage condition. I have included NEW sterling silver ear backs.
